I work as a Computing Lecturer in a Dublin college and as a tutor on the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. I am also a Distance Learning and Online Tutor with the Faculty of Astrological Studies as well as their IT Manager

I have a BSc in Information Systems, a MSc in Health Informatics and a MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. My PhD (2016) was titled ‘An examination of the impact of the Internet on Modern Western astrology’, and I continue to have an interest in this area, particularly the ongoing changes taking place in the astrological community as a result of widespread use of social media. 

A main focus of the thesis was the issue of dualism in connection with the internet and in astrology. I lecture on dualism in both the ‘Sacred Geography’ and ‘Sky and Psyche’ modules. On the ‘Sky and Psyche’ module I also lecture on the work of C. G. Jung in relation to astrology and the 20th century astrologer Alan Leo.  On the ‘Skyscapes’ module, I lecture on Irish mythology and the Irish Neolithic monuments, and the connection between the two.
