Glenn Behenna

Glenn is a Senior Lecturer in the Business School and also Programme Director for the BA Management Skills for the Workplace and for the Cert HE Skills for the Workplace programmes, which are delivered across South and South West Wales and in England.  Glenn lectures on the BA Business Management degree at the Carmarthen campus in Strategic Management, Managing People and other topic areas as well as supervising Business Management dissertations.  Glenn’s focus is on helping people to realise their potential.

Glenn has seventeen years’ experience in Higher Education in a teaching capacity and has lectured for the Open University Oxford Business School in the area of Leadership and Management.  He is an experienced online lecturer for the OU and has also lectured at Swansea University and Swansea Institute of Higher Education in the Business and Computing Schools. 

Glenn’s background of consultancy and facilitation to the UK and Welsh Government in the areas of Knowledge Management and Project Management provide a wealth of real world experience to his lectures.  His work for the UK Government involved programme management experience at an all Wales level.

Teaching areas are related to Strategic Management, Managing People, Project Management, Knowledge Management, Leadership and Management, Problem-based Learning and Class-based discussion.

Glenn’s research interests relate to Knowledge Management, Project Management, Strategic Management, Managing People and issues related to complexity and the impact upon organisations.

Glenn has experience of European funding applications and project management.  He has considerable consultancy and facilitation experience in organisational development, in particular in knowledge management, and project management. Glenn is an approved mental toughness practitioner and has security clearance for work with the UK and Welsh Government.
