She was awarded the John Thomas award which helped to fund her fourth year at the College. As well as singing lead roles in Operas, large scale Choral Works, and Chamber Choir performances, Louise also sang with the Big Band and Jazz Ensemble during her time there. She was also engaged to accompany other singers and instrumentalists in their final recitals.

Now, with 30 years of experience in this field, she focuses on ‘career’ singers, preparing them for exams, auditions for Institute and University entry, professional auditions and castings, TV and Radio work, competitions, studio and album recordings, and Concerts. Many of her students achieving roles in the West End, TV and film, and several artists in the Pop/Indie circuit.

Louise is lucky to have taught, and worked extensively, with Charlotte Church, Lucie Jones and Luke Evans. When working with Charlotte, Louise travelled the world regularly, preparing her for album recordings with Sony Classical and Universal Records. Louise also had the privilege of working closely with highly acclaimed producers and composers:

Whist still very busy acting, Luke has also recently launched his solo singing career.

As well as working with soloists, Louise was commissioned by the BBC to arrange, produce and conduct 300 school children in a live TV performance for Children In Need. She has produced and had the role of Musical Director in Musical Theatre productions and a number of showcases with her Students.
