Background

I have been awarded a PhD in Management (Operations Management) by the UC Business School at University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. I completed an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Nottingham, England, UK. My MBA (in Marketing) and BBA (in Marketing) are degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Academic Interests

Areas of my teaching and research interest are Sustainable Operations, and Supply Chain and Logistics Management. I have been teaching on modules such as Introduction to Operations and Supply Chain Management, Strategic Operations and Supply Chain Management, Fundamentals of Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Business Logistics Management since 2007.

Research Interests

Areas of my research interest are Sustainable Operations, and Supply Chain and Logistics Management. My genuine research interest motivated me to publish peer-reviewed journal articles. I also worked as a research assistant at UC Business School, University of Canterbury, New Zealand from 2017 to 2022.

Expertise

I am passionate about teaching and research. Before joining UWTSD, I successfully completed a semester as a lecturer at University of Canterbury International College (UCIC). Also, I had the good fortune to assist in teaching a large number of undergraduate students enrolled under School of Business at University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand and Lincoln University, New Zealand from 2018 as a Teaching Assistant. Moreover, I taught at a renowned university in Bangladesh, namely, University of Dhaka from 2007.
