Munyaradzi Nicholas Murira MSc, MEd, CCNA
I am responsible for teaching, assessing, project supervision to all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in areas including, but not limited, to Cybersecurity, Networks, Operating Systems and Network Programmability.
I have taught Introduction to Networks, Data Communications and Networks, Mobile Technologies, Operating Systems & Hardware, Routing and Switching, Programming in Java, Software Engineering with Objects, and C during my over 18 years of lecturing at college and universities.
I support the idea that theoretical computer science concepts sit hand-in-hand with practical ‘hands-on’ experiences hence I took cisco instructor training in CCNA, CyberOps, IT Essentials and DevNet Associate. I also have certifications in CCNA, CyberOPs and DevNet Associate. Active Cisco Networking Academy instructor with “Instructor Excellence Expert” awarded for 2021.
I have supervised dissertations at Diploma and Degree level, attended research seminars and workshops, conducted training to corporate and internal technical members of staff.
I am a member of the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA). This organisation is an equivalent of the BCS and they share reciprocal service benefits.
