Nerys graduated with honours from University Wales Aberystwyth in International Politics and History, before following a PGCE course to train as a primary teacher.
She has spent over seventeen years as a teacher and senior teacher leading and specialising in Welsh, Literacy and Numeracy, and History. During this period she also created primary teaching resources for Gomer Press and was an advisor for a number of Welsh children’s literature projects.
Following a secondment to the University at the beginning of 2016, Nerys joined the Initial Teacher Training team in September 2016.
