Research Interests
Research interests centre on the use of digital technology such as cinematic virtual reality, kinaesthetic and tactile haptics, and photogrammetry to record submerged and coastal archaeological and heritage sites, and the use of serious gaming to teach heritage and history. My particular focus is on the ability of digital technologies to create immersive legacy records of at-risk sites which may not be able to survive further catastrophic or environmental factors/events due to seismic activity, such as Port Royal or sites such as Pavlopetri which are at risk from environmental destruction.
