STEM Undergraduate Courses

UWTSD offers research-active STEM subjects with unique specialist industry links at our state-of-the-art, purpose-built campus in Swansea.

Our BSc Architecture course is RIBA certified and taught by experienced architects with practitioner expertise. The Construction team offers courses from Quantity Surveying to Construction Management with sustainability a key focus. Computing at UWTSD has a cross-disciplinary teaching approach, with creative courses in Games and Animation as well as BSc courses in Cybersecurity, Web Development, and Cloud Computing within their extensive portfolio. Computing programmes are BCS accredited and developed in collaboration with industry-leading companies.

Accredited Engineering degrees range from Mechanical and Manufacturing to Motorsport, Automotive, and Motorcycle, offering all students the opportunity to join active race teams, and partner with industry to develop projects. Our Environmental courses use practical learning via fieldwork to make the most of our great geographical location near the Gower, the first area in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
