Growing up, I used to be fascinated at how displays on devices - cars, washing machines, radios - told people what was going on inside their boxes.
As a result, I went into the field of Human-Computer Interaction, which is much more than just how people use their computers, it's about how people use computers to help others understand machines, and data, and even other people.
A lot of people think that computing is all about guys writing code. It's not. It's a great career for women who want to help build an inclusive and supportive technology-enabled society.
