As a Department, we work to create opportunities for students to have their say on their education and embed student voice in all aspects of university life.
The department has a responsibility in ensuring the University meets its commitment to its students as laid out in the Student Charter and its requirements under Chapter B5 of the UK Quality Code. We are therefore always looking for ways to help improve different aspects of University life.
We are passionate about the role of student voice and creating opportunities for students to shape the direction of the institution.
Using the feedback you’ve provided through surveys, face-to-face engagement, and issues you’ve raised through your student reps, we work towards making changes to enhance your time at university, ensuring you feel empowered and confident that your views are represented.
We manage UWTSD’s participation in national surveys, including NSS, PTES, UKES and PRES. The department are responsible for the survey campaigns as well as providing analysis, supporting other departments to use and improve their results, and feeding back on results and impacts made to students.
