Top tips for making the most of your day
Choosing where you will study for the next three or four years is a big decision, so please take this opportunity to ask us questions. It might be helpful to make a list of things you want to find out more about before you arrive (and to ask each university you go to the same questions). You may want to ask about access to facilities, tutor contact time, class or lecture sizes and the jobs graduates have gone on to do. Don’t worry if you forget to ask something on the day, email us later at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Speak to Students
Talking to current students is the best way to find out what studying with us will be like for you. The students you meet at an open day are there to help you, so don’t hesitate to ask them about their course and student life in Swansea. Some of them will also be able to talk from personal experience about accommodation options, travel arrangements, balancing study with other commitments and student support.
What to Bring
We will provide food and refreshments on the day and you are welcome to bring family or friends. When you book, please tells us how many other guests you are bringing so we can tell our catering staff.
Leave a bit of time to explore Swansea. Check out the shops or take a trip down to Mumbles and have a Joe’s Ice Cream. With award-winning beaches, the beautiful Gower peninsula, Wales’ largest indoor market and more, Swansea has a lot to offer.
