Teaching Room Upgrades

Over the Summer, a number of teaching rooms were upgraded to improve the learning & teaching environments across campuses and to add to the spaces that were upgraded over the summer of 2021. Plans are now underway for phase 3 of this project and we would like to offer staff the opportunity to submit your views and ideas to help shape the development of our learning spaces.

Phase 3 of the project will aim to enhance the standard of audio-visual equipment in a number of teaching rooms, as well as increase the number of Hybrid/Hyflex teaching rooms available for use.

Room upgrades support the University’s digitisation agenda and creates numerous benefits and opportunities for both staff and students. There has been a significant investment made available to support this project and in addition to the digital upgrades to these rooms, furniture and redecoration will also be considered where necessary to improve the learning and teaching experience.
