Studying Abroad in Wales was the biggest decision I've ever made. I've not only travelled a ton, but I've also made friends from all over the world and memories that I know will last a life time. There's no doubt in my mind that this has been the best year of my life.
Choosing to go to UWTSD Swansea was probably the best choice I've made in my life yet. Going somewhere completely new challenged me in new ways and made me happier than I could have ever imagined. I've made new friends and my course is very fulfilling. In short, I love it here.
I have been really impressed by the PGCE course. This course prepares you for the classroom. UWTSD pushes your subject knowledge and creativity in the classroom. They also cover all subjects and most aspects of school life. The intense placements are the most beneficial aspects of the course PGCE is a lot of work during placements but its all worth it. Swansea is an easy city to get to know. The buses are easy and frequent. There are some lovely areas such as the Gower, Mumbles and pretty well the entire beach area.
Lampeter is a lovely campus full of lovely people. The course is stimulating and exciting. The heart of Wales is the perfect place to grow and mature in life and education.
Studying here in Wales has cemented for me so many important ideas. I have learned so much about myself. But more importantly I have learned about the many different ways to see the world.
Leaving my country, my family and my friends wasn’t an easy choice. However, from my first day on the university I felt like I was home. The staff of the university, especially in the international office, and the other students were really friendly. They welcomed me like I was there years. The staff was always there to help me and with the other students we became friends really quickly. Trinity saint David university ended up to be a really more joyful experience than I ever expected.
