Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Practice (Full-time) (PGCert)

Distance Learning
6 Months Full-Time
2:1 Honours Degree

Start Your Postgraduate Journey in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is a fast-growing field. Whether you are taking your first steps in this area or want to strengthen your professional credibility with a recognised qualification, the PGCert is an ideal starting point.

The PGCert Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Practice covers the foundations of EDI and the legal and policy frameworks that shape it. You will explore key themes including race, gender, disability, age, ethnicity, poverty, and culture, and examine how these affect individuals, families, communities, and organisations in the real world.

Study on Your Own Terms

This course is fully online with no campus visits required. You can engage with content at your own pace through asynchronous learning, alongside optional fortnightly group sessions that connect you with other learners. Full-time students complete the PGCert in six months. Part-time students complete it in twelve months.

Two Modules. Tailored to You.

You will complete two core modules, each of which can be applied to your own workplace or professional interests. You will develop skills in critical analysis, ethical decision-making, policy interpretation, and professional communication.

A Stepping Stone to More

The PGCert is a standalone qualification, but it also opens the door to the PGDip and, from there, to the full MA. New intakes begin each October.
