Dr. Abida Perveen is a dedicated and innovative Lecturer in Computing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where she has been a valued member of the academic team since 2021. 

She holds a PhD in Computing from Birmingham City University (BCU), where she commenced her academic career in 2018 as a Visiting Lecturer. Since then, she has established a strong profile as an educator, researcher, and academic leader.

Her pedagogical approach is grounded in active, inclusive, and problem-based learning methodologies, with a strong emphasis on student engagement and applied knowledge.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Perveen is an accomplished researcher, with peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and international conferences. Her current research interests lie in the areas of artificial intelligence and communication networks. She also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, contributing to the academic development of students and the advancement of knowledge within her field.
