WEATHER WARNING : Monday, 5 January 2026 – Closure of Carmarthen and Lampeter campuses 05.01.26
The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for snow and ice that may impact campuses in Wales over the coming days. Please follow the advice provided on their website to reduce the risks to your safety and that of others.
Due to the adverse weather conditions currently affecting the region, and with the safety of our staff and students in mind, the University’s Carmarthen and Lampeter campuses will be closed from 00.01 on Monday, 5 January during the Yellow Warning period.
All in-person teaching, events, and non-essential on-site operations are suspended. Where possible, staff are encouraged to work remotely.
Please continue to monitor your email for any updates. We will keep the situation under review but expect the campuses to be open as normal on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
