- Research experience since 2006 working in various EU/EC, nationally, or privately funded research projects in Italy, Greece, and the UK related to: sociology of health, disability studies, primary health care, health services, health promotion, public health, ageing, deinstitutionalisation, social inclusion of persons with disability [e.g. the Multidisciplinary Research Network on Health and Disability in Europe (MURINET) project, Collaborative Research on Ageing in Europe (COURAGE in Europe) project, NHS-evaluation project of the Stop Smoking Service by the eB4u Programme, Lumos NGO project in Greece, 'THALES - Building Health Care Workers Capacity in Health Promotion: development, implementation and evaluation of an innovative distance-learning intervention', and 'Promotion of Child Psychosocial Development and Prevention of Difficulties in the Childcare Context' project].
