Background
Gail trained as a Primary teacher (early years) in Bristol, completing a PGCE after her degree in Economics. Gail loved being a classroom teacher and after some time, she led a Foundation Phase department and worked as a Foundation Phase Advisory Teacher.

Gail joined the university 11 years ago and works across the BA, PGCE and MA programmes. In addition, she occasionally works for Estyn as a lead inspector of Nurseries and she is in the final stages of completing a Doctorate in Education, studying how Wales’ schools address child bereavement.
