Dr. K. Radhakrishnan is an accomplished academic leader and researcher with over two decades of experience in computer science, specialising in computer networks, cybersecurity, and AI applications. As Academic Director for Applied Computing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, he leads curriculum innovation, programme validation, and strategic academic initiatives.  

A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Cisco Instructor Trainer, he bridges academia and industry through certifications and partnerships. His research spans network protocols, cyber forensics, and intelligent systems, with a strong publication record and successful PhD supervision.

Dr. K. Radhakrishnan is an experienced academic leader and researcher in the field of computing, with a focus on computer networks, cybersecurity, and the application of artificial intelligence in digital security. As Academic Director for the Applied Computing portfolio, he leads curriculum development, programme validation, and strategic academic initiatives across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

His research interests include networks, cyber security and forensics, and intelligent systems for security. He has supervised multiple PhD candidates to completion and serves as an external examiner and assessor for several UK and international universities. His scholarly work is widely published and he contributes as a reviewer and editorial board member for international journals.

Passionate about advancing digital education and secure technologies, Dr. Radhakrishnan thrives at the intersection of teaching, research, and academic leadership.
