Katie Gardner
Lecturer: Post 16 Education
Background
Katie has been lecturing at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David since 2020 on a number programmes including the BEd in Youth and Community Work, MA in Equity and Diversity in Society, the PCET programme.
In her role as a lecturer on the PGCE(PCET) post compulsory teacher training programme Katie takes a lead on the Additional Leaning Needs & Inclusive Practice and the Managing Behaviour & Supporting Student Engagement Modules. Katie’s extensive experience in informal education within the public sector inform her teaching practices and her ability to support students within their studies.
Katie also supports current University Staff on the PGCert THE and those applying for HEA fellowships.
