Lilian is a Strategic Lead in Curriculum and Pedagogy for Teacher Education at UWTSD.

Professional and/or Research Experience
Lilian is completing a Welsh Government-funded Doctorate as part of the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan. She is an advocate for social justice and is interested in Critical Pedagogy as a method for praxis. She is a research partner in DARPL and has spoken at national conferences, policy insight events and at BERA about anti-racism.
Lilian is a trustee of BAMEed Network, a national organisation supporting racialised educators and consults on policies and guidance related to equity.
Locally, she is part of the IOP equity network and promotes gender equity in the sciences.
Lilian is part of the WCLD project, which examines digital pedagogy such as virtual reality and our immersive spaces to create more authentic experiences for learning.

Lilian is a native English speaker who has embraced learning foundational Welsh and Mandarin, and she can also engage in conversational Cantonese.
