Dr. Nitheesh Murugan Kaliyamurthy has a distinguished career spanning academia and industry, with a focus on network and cybersecurity. He holds roles as a Programme Manager. He is also a prominent figure in global skills competitions, serving as an Expert for Team UK in IT Network Systems Administration at WorldSkills, Asia Skills, and EuroSkills Competitions since 2023 where he collaborates with representatives from over 25 countries, sharing and integrating industry best practices to enrich academic programs and advance professional standards. His research focuses on enhancing security in SDN. Dr. Nitheesh is a co-inventor of a patent "A numeral narrow-down method and system for ultimate network internal security wrapping" published June 2023. His work extends industry partnerships, including cybersecurity analysis and penetration testing projects at UWTSD since 2022. His contributions to cybersecurity awareness include delivering special talks across the globe since 2017.
