Ryan Stuckey

Background
Ryan is a chartered architect with nearly 30 years experience in architectural practice (23 years as a partner in a private practice) and 10 years + experience in the education sector. Ryan is a former president of the RSAW, and works for the RIBA chairing school validation boards and recently been invited to the RIBA New Courses Group.

- He teaches across all disciplines of architecture specialising in Professional Studies, Technology and Studio delivery.
Professional and/or Research Experience
Since retiring his own practice in 2022, Ryan now uses his spare time to support new young practices with business development and personal professional training. Since 2021, he has also been involved with the RIBA education department, chairing professional boards validating schools of architecture globally, and speaking at conferences on subjects such as the diversity of education delivery in remote regions and Welsh architectural pedagogy. Ryan is also a book reviewer for several publishing houses on architectural subjects and professionalism, and aspires to writing a book in the coming years.

RSAW - Royal Society of Architects in Wales. Former President and current council member since 2012.
RIBA - Royal institute of British Architects. Former council member (2020 - 2025) 2 years as president of the RSAW and 3 years as the Welsh Regional Representative.
