Sadhana Jha
Background
Dr Sadhana Jha is an experienced academic specialising in computer security, formal verification, and cyber physical systems, with over a decade of teaching and research across leading institutions in the UK and India.
She holds a PhD and M.Tech in Computer Security from IIT Kharagpur, India and a B.Tech in Computer Science from BPUT, Odisha, India.
Currently she is the Deputy program manager and a Lecturer in the Computing department at IICL Birmingham campus. She has led modules in software solution, learning in the digital era, web technologies and databases. Her earlier roles include academic appointments at the University of Reading, IIIT Raichur, and BITS Pilani, where also she combined teaching with program management and institutional leadership.

Professional and/or Research Experience
Dr Jha’s research focuses on access control frameworks (RBAC, ABAC), model checking in security systems, and the governance and ethics of AI. She has published in high-impact venues such as IEEE TIFS, IET Information Security, and Computers & Security. She is the editorial board member for the Utkal University Journal of Computing & Communications, peer review for IEEE and other international journals, and invited talks at various institutions in India and UK and USA.
