Additionally, the peer-to-peer learning environment has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the programme, fostering valuable discussions, knowledge-sharing, and the formation of lifelong professional relationships.

What were your favourite things about the campus and facilities?
One of my favourite things about the UWTSD campus was its modern facilities that supported both study and relaxation.
The libraries and study spaces were well-equipped, and the inclusive opening hours were perfect for someone working full-time and studying, making it easier to manage both commitments. The blend of up-to-date technology, supportive resources, and flexible access made it a great environment for
student success.
What are your future career plans after graduation?
As Director of People Services at Bluestone National Park Resort, my course played a crucial role in preparing me for this strategic position. It provided a strong theoretical foundation in HR which I was able to apply directly to real-life situations within the organisation. The combination of academic insight and practical application helped me develop effective, evidence-based people strategies. Studying while working also allowed me to immediately
implement learning into practice, enhancing both my confidence and capability in strategic HR leadership.
