Special features of the Professional Practice Framework

  • The PPF helps learners recognise and formalise the knowledge they have already gained through their work. Using accreditation of prior experiential learning, students can receive academic credit for their workplace experience.

  • Learners engage in a journey of self-discovery, reflection, and critical analysis. The framework allows an academic claim of up to two-thirds of an award based on experiential learning gained in the workplace.

  • With guidance from experienced professionals, learners strengthen their CPD through mentorship and applied study.

  • The PPF enables learners to balance study with personal and professional commitments without requiring the traditional weekly attendance. As a flexible lifelong learning programme, it accommodates diverse learning styles and ensures accessibility for all. Professional experience is our only entry requirement.

  • Employers and training providers can collaborate with us to develop bespoke accredited programmes. This enhances the credibility and quality of in-house and commercial development opportunities.

  • Learners gain practical workplace skills, theoretical knowledge, reflective practice and critical thinking abilities. All course assignments are applied directly to the workplace, ensuring impact for both individuals and employers.
