Background

Andrea joined the Centre for Psychology and Counselling at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Swansea in 2014. 

She has more than 20 years’ experience as an educator and facilitator, teaching counselling, psychology, health and social care and personal development in a wide range of settings, including schools, colleges, higher education institutions and health and community settings.

Andrea qualified as an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist in 2012 and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and member of the advisory group for the QAA Subject Benchmarks for Counselling and Psychotherapy 2022. She has a private practice in Swansea and has many years’ experience supporting adults, children and young people in a range of settings, including schools, colleges, primary health care and the voluntary sector.
