Caroline Lewis
Background
Dr Caroline Lewis is an experienced higher education leader with a strong background in teacher education, professional development, and strategic leadership. She currently serves as Head of the Centre for Professional Learning & Leadership at UWTSD, where she oversees a broad portfolio of professional learning programmes and supports partnership development across both domestic and international contexts. In addition to her leadership role, she actively contributes to staff development within UWTSD and has extensive experience mentoring colleagues through various professional recognition schemes.
Caroline has held a range of academic and leadership positions at UWTSD. Her work has consistently focused on enhancing the student experience, driving curriculum innovation, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and has contributed extensively to national discussions on education policy and post-compulsory teacher training in Wales.
