Background
Neil worked for 15 years within the Higher Education Sector in marketing and management roles, this culminating in his role as CEO for Swansea Met Students’ Union, before starting his own company as a Management Consultant. In recent years Neil has focused on growing his own businesses as well as teaching and inspiring others to do the same through creative and engaging Entrepreneurship studies and workshops at UWTSD.
Neil has expanded on his BA Hons qualification in Marketing, by completing his MBA and PG Cert in Teaching Higher Education at UWTSD. Neil primarily lectures on Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship for Level 4 - 7 students.

Professional and/or Research Experience
Neil's consultancy business has assisted over 100 start-ups in the South Wales area as well as management and marketing support for a wide variety of existing businesses looking to grow. Neil has a particular interest in not-for-profit organisations supporting a variety of local enterprises as a non-executive board member, and in addition has supported with the creation of several Community Interest Companies (CIC's).
With a passion in Entrepreneurship, and a drive to encourage and inspire the next generation of Entrepreneurs, Neil is involved in the Welsh Government initiative Big Ideas Wales, and has previously supported UWTSD by running Business Start-Up workshops online and in-person for students and the general public.
