The UWTSD School of Architecture, which celebrates its 10 anniversary this year,  hosted its annual End of Year Show on Friday, June 5th, 2026, marking a night of celebration for its newest cohort of graduates.

The exhibition showcased the high-quality collective outputs of a talented group of students, whose work was praised for its excellence by leading architectural and engineering practices across South Wales.

The event highlighted the exceptional standards within the school, with several prestigious awards presented to graduating students for their outstanding contributions:

  • Arden Kitt Prize (Best Dissertation): Carys Morris
  • Lawray Architects (Best Graphic Representation): Carys Davies
  • Quad Consult (Best Technical/Structural Analysis): Mark Marosan
  • Starki Architecture (Best Technical Research Model): Dylan Longman
  • George & Co (Best Hand Made Models): Wiktoria Dolecka
  • Jones Robbins Tobin Architects (Best Brief Writing): Riham Ghaleb
  • Rio Architects (Best Contextual Design): Mari Emyr
  • Benham Architects (Most Creative Development): Carys Morris
  • Richard Parnaby (Best Architectural Studio Prize): Helena Cuciureanu

Notably, Carys Morris was a double-award winner, and the Allan Stuckey Memorial Prize for Commitment to Architectural Education was presented to all eight students in recognition of their dedication.

The 2026 show was made possible through the generous support of main sponsors Travis Perkins and Rockwool Ltd

Ian Standen Programme Director for Architecture, said: ‘We are extremely proud of the talented group of students graduating this year. The quality and outputs of their collective work is evident on the walls of the exhibition. We are sure they will all have a bright future in the architectural profession.’
