Graphic Design
Introduction
Graphic Design is invariably about people, and we have been in the company of some remarkable human beings these past three years. Some further values we have noticed include: passion - for the coastline and planet, for music and for language; joy - in craft, making and process; bravery - confronting the uncomfortable, exploring uncharted creative territory, and (literally) crossing oceans to climb mountains.
Art Colleges can become (too) safe spaces where enthusiasms and mutual support systems overlook the necessary recognition of the world beyond our creative walls. These students have squared up to their own ‘outside worlds’ with grace, optimism, and unashamedly beautiful solutions to challenging subjects and turbulent times.
Many of the projects here owe their success to old-fashioned hard graft, grit, and determination. We reflect on work, which is the antithesis of artificial. Work full of soul and originality that no algorithm could hold a candle to.

Aimee is passionate about storytelling through design and strives to create meaningful visuals that make a positive difference in the world. She has a particular interest in brand identity, creative campaign design, and book cover design. Her work is bold and playful, often incorporating hands-on techniques as creative tools.

Bronwyn enjoys designing using a combination of digital and traditional processes, including risograph and lino printing. She particularly likes the tactile and hand-made nature of traditional methods and her biggest influences within her work are styles from the past. She believes that design is an important visual storytelling method.
