What you will learn

The programme will draw on research active staff in the field of philosophy and ethics, including their professional experience in public service ethics consideration and in legislative and policy change, as well as develop the Lampeter humanities offer in a more work and skill orientated direction.

The programme will offer an opportunity for students to critically engage with key challenges of the 21st century workplace, alongside developing an understanding of the ways in which academic knowledge of ethics can inform everyday professional practice. This development of key skills and awareness within the workplace advances workplaces’ skills and capacities to contribute to new knowledge about social transformation and professional working behaviours.

  • All core books will be available via the library, but students may wish to buy their own copies, or may choose to buy optional resources.

    You will need to have access to a laptop or computer or another electronic device that enables you to use the University’s e-learning systems.

    Should students want to access the course from the campus and should they want to visit campus, they are free to use the library computers, but as distance-learners, they will be required to have access remotely.
