Degree apprenticeships are an alternative to traditional university study that are becoming increasingly popular. They are work-based training schemes. You will gain real world workplace experience and earn a salary, whilst simultaneously working towards a degree qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. 

Facts about Degree Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a life long learning pathway with no age limit, so as long you are not in full-time education and over 18 you can apply.

Degree apprenticeship starts at Level 4, however, relevant previous experience/qualifications will be taken into account. You will study part-time around your work commitments, and the programme will be for 2-4 years.

The programme is Government funded and you will be entitled to a wage, statutory holiday's and paid time off to study.

Apprentices must be in relevant employment, but a degree apprenticeship is suitible for all industry sectors and business sizes.

Apprentices must be eligible to work in the UK and receive a minimum salary of at least £12,000 per annum.

If you are self-employed in Wales you can also apply.
