Undergraduate Bursaries

Introduction

We have a variety of bursaries which are granted to students based on need and come in the form of fee waivers. 

Bursaries

This bursary is for students under 25 from a care-experienced background to assist with initial costs of resources and equipment.

Award Value: Up to £1000

This bursary is to assist all students who have or are being assessed as having a disability with any costs directly associated with their disability to facilitate their studies.

Award Value: Up to £700

This bursary is for Level 5 or 6 BAME or traveller home students wishing to undertake research or performance activity.

Mature Student Birmingham Campus

This bursary is to provide support for students with UK asylum-seeking or refugee status.

Graduation mortar boards

Each Academic Institute at the University is offering bursaries up to £500 to support enrolled students in their first semester of their first year of study at the University.

Award Value: Up to £500

The Women in STEM Academic Excellence Bursary awards up to £500 to any undergraduate student who self-identifies as a woman and is on one of our STEM courses.

Apprenticeships

A specific progression bursary for undergraduate home students from Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Ceredigion.

Students living in Wales who are in higher education and who study part-time may have their fees waived if they meet certain conditions, dependent on when they started their course.
