Representing industry, Ben Altwasser, Head of Research & Technology at Safran Seats in Cwmbran, will discuss how cutting-edge engineering and research are transforming the future of aircraft seating. 

Dr Andrew Killen, Senior Research & Innovation Fellow at UWTSD, will explore innovation through the lens of mechanical design, materials development, and digital manufacturing. 

Alan Mumby, Lecturer in Innovation Management at UWTSD’s Wales Institute of Science and Art (WISA) and RSA Fellow, will host the event and will facilitate audience discussion questions.
