Joseph's BA in Documentary Photography and Visual Activism
What was your favourite thing about the Swansea campus?
I find that the equipment and studio spaces available at UWTSD Dynevor Campus allow me to reach my full potential as a photographer. The experienced lecturers create an excellent learning environment.
Why did you choose UWTSD?
UWTSD offers a diverse team of experienced photographers and artists who are genuinely invested in student success. This was clear during my interview with Ryan and Joe.
What did you enjoy outside your studies?
Photography. I regularly photograph people in public spaces, as well as scenery and landscapes, to continually build my experience.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
I aim to continue studying so I can become a photography lecturer. If not immediately possible, I hope to establish myself as a documentary photographer or photojournalist.
What was your favourite thing about your course?
The freedom to expand my practice and access a wide range of knowledge and facilities. It has helped me grow into a stronger photographer.
Would you recommend UWTSD and why?
The lecturers are welcoming, facilities are high quality, the campus is calm, and support is always available.
