See You at the Eisteddfod!

We are very much looking forward to Eisteddfod y Garreg Las and the wide range of activities we have planned on our stand to entertain, engage and educate visitors.

Come and see us at stand 803-806 on the Maes, where you will receive a warm welcome and will have the opportunity to learn more about our undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including our degree apprenticeships.

Here are some of the highlights of the week:

Launch of the new BA Childhood, Education and Society degree, with Ann Davies, MP, a former student and lecturer on the Early Years course.
Learn more about our degree apprenticeships and hear from Lowrie Proctor, a graduate of the BSc Computing, Data and Information Systems programme, as she shares her journey and career progression in the workplace.
Join PhD researcher Mark Rees as he explores how Wales’ dramatic landscapes and visionary artists helped shape the Gothic genre that gave us classics such as Frankenstein and Dracula.
Teachers are invited to hear authors and lecturers discuss the importance of books in the lives of children and young people.
Dr Christine Jones will discuss the dialects of the Eisteddfod locale and offer visitors the opportunity to browse the archive.
Take part in creating art, designing a racing car, visiting the Alps through virtual reality, and exploring the educational and unique resources of Peniarth.
