The University has received nominations in the following categories:

  • Lecturers and Teaching Quality
  • Career Prospects
  • International
  • Student Support
  • Postgraduate
  •  Halls and Student Accommodation

The WUSCAs are widely regarded as one of the most significant awards in the UK higher education sector, as they are based entirely on student reviews. This year, more than 43,000 verified student reviews were collected, making UWTSD’s six nominations a notable achievement.

The recognition reflects the University’s continued commitment to delivering a high-quality student experience, shaped by student voice and feedback.

Professor Mirjam Plantinga, Pro Vice-Chancellor, commented:
“We are delighted to be shortlisted in six categories at this year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards. These nominations are particularly meaningful as they are based entirely on feedback from our students. It is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the supportive, inclusive community we strive to create across all our campuses.”
