Ffion is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Manager at Swansea Business School, specialising in leadership, enterprise, and employability. She leads the BA (Hons) Developing Leadership and Management and the CertHE in Employability Skills, designing and delivering programmes that prepare students for leadership roles in dynamic business environments.

Ffion has held a variety of management and operational roles across the Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, and Training & Development sectors. These experiences have provided her with a strong grounding in leadership, customer experience, and organisational performance, which she now integrates into her academic practice.
Her research focuses on innovative approaches to student engagement and access to higher education. She has explored the use of gamification to enhance student engagement, as well as how universities attract and support widening access students.
She also has a growing interest in the future of business and leadership, particularly in how organisations must adapt to meet global challenges, the importance of community in an age of AI, and the skills leaders will need to thrive in rapidly changing environments.
