What is your favourite thing about Swansea campus?
The Automotive Design Studio. Personally, I love being able to have my own space, and having a place where I can work on my projects in a more professional setting with fellow students. It also gives plenty of opportunity to meet other year groups and get feedback from tutors outside of lecture time.
Why did you choose UWTSD?
When going to my first open day at UWTSD, I was blown away by the facilities and how passionate and professional the tutors for my course were, and after seeing/hearing about pervious students work and success stories, UWTSD was an easy pick for me.
What do you enjoy outside your studies?
Outside of my studies, With the friends I met on my course, we often take local trips out to various beaches, or for hikes around Bannau Brycheiniog, which is very local to our campus.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
After I graduate, I would love to get into industry. I found through an additional live project with the course, that I very much enjoyed yacht design as well as automotive or CAD design, and in future would love to do something similar.
What is your favourite thing about your course?
The tutors and opportunities. Compared to other universities, I like how the course has a smaller class size, which gives you many more opportunities to speak to the lectures Sergio and Vibhor and offers a much more personal teaching style. I also love how there are many opportunities through the course, through additional or live projects with companies to really improve and show yourself.
Would you recommend UWTSD and why?
I would highly recommend UWTSD, I believe the facilities here are exceptional and offer not only amazing facilities for the course, but lots of areas to study or hang with friends. The tutors here are also very passionate and professional and believe the smaller class sizes are an added bonus. I also believe there are many opportunities where you can show yourself in industry or improve your work overall.
