The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is delighted to announce that it as been placed  1st in Wales for Lecturers & Teaching Quality (8th in the UK) and for  Student Support (11th in UK) in the  Whatuni Student Choice Awards, announced last night.

UWTSD was also placed 2nd in Wales for Facilities and 3rd in Wales for Students’ Union  and saw a spectacular rise of 62 places to 26th overall in the UK and 2nd  in Wales. 

The recognition reaffirms the university’s strong commitment to delivering exceptional teaching and fostering an enriching academic environment for its students.​ 

The WUSCAs are unique in the higher education sector, as they are based entirely on student reviews, reflecting genuine student experiences across the UK.  The 2025 awards ceremony took place last evening (21st May 2025) at The Brewery in London, with esteemed host Alexander Armstrong. 

Professor Elwen Evans, KC, Vice Chancellor said: “This is an excellent result which is a direct reflection of student feedback.  The University has achieved good results across a range of categories which reflects the quality of the student experience we all provide. Congratulations and a thank you to all our staff for their continued work in supporting our students.”
