Three Graduation Ceremonies for our London Campus graduates are taking place today at Intercontinental London – the O2. Around 1,000 graduates, from CertHE to Postgraduate level, are attending with their friends, families and staff members on this memorable occasion.

The graduation ceremonies offer an opportunity to celebrate the success, hard work and commitment of UWTSD’s graduates and gives the University community the chance to pay tribute to such dedication.

Addressing the graduands, Professor Elwen Evans, KC, Vice Chancellor of UWTSD said: “The graduation ceremonies mark the culmination of a stage in the academic career of our students. For many of our students,  the achievement of a higher education qualification provides entry to the next stage, and many go on to achieve masters’ and doctoral awards with us.

“Today, we are celebrating our students’ hard work and commitment, but we should also remember the support given by their families and friends”.

In addressing the graduates, she said:  “You all graduate with the skills and attributes you require to make a difference in your chosen career.

“I trust, as you look back at your time as a student at the University, that you take with you the many friendships and happy memories of our time here, and that your experiences at UWTSD will serve you well throughout your life.

“I wish you all success for your future and remind you that, as alumni of this University, we will endeavour to support you and hope that you will continue to stay in touch with us.”
