UWTSD recognised for social inclusion, teaching quality and the student experience in Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has been recognised for its strong commitment to social inclusion, teaching quality and the student experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, published today.
The University has ranked:
- 1st in Wales and 2nd in England and Wales for Social Inclusion
- 1st in Wales and 4th in the UK for Teaching Quality
- 1st in Wales and 5th in the UK for Student Experience
The Guide also noted that “Results of the new National Student Survey confirm that the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has Wales’s most satisfied students, cementing its reputation for personalised learning that supports students to thrive.”
The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide ranks universities on a range of criteria including student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards and graduate prospects.
Graphic design student, Zheng Jiayi commented: “The University’s emphasis on practical learning, combined with opportunities for internships and industry connections, prepares students for success in their chosen fields. The vibrant campus life and stunning surroundings contribute to a rich and fulfilling student experience”.

This national recognition also builds on a series of recent achievements for UWTSD, including ranking 1st in Wales and 2nd in the UK in The Times and Sunday Times’ analysis of the National Student Survey (NSS) as well as in the Guardian University Guide 2027 which placed UWTSD in the top 50 universities in the UK.
