Background

Natasha Morgans holds an undergraduate degree in Early Years, providing her with strong knowledge and skills within the field. She uses this expertise with confidence, ensuring it is applied effectively to support progress and development.

Through her experience, Natasha has learned that clear and effective teaching comes from explaining complex ideas in simple ways and keeping students engaged with a positive attitude. In her role as an Early Years lecturer, she contributes to the design and development of module content, planning for individual modules and clearly communicating their purposes and aspirations to students.

Natasha is also a fluent Welsh speaker, confident in speaking, reading, and writing in the language.

Professional and/or Research Experience

Alongside a colleague, Natasha Morgans has begun exploring external funding opportunities with Pembrokeshire Council, following their identification of a need for practitioners in the area to better understand the relevance of play in education. Through this work, participants are encouraged to engage in imaginative and collaborative activities, with a focus on exploration, fun, experimentation, and the freedom to discover new ways of thinking and interacting without the pressure of a structured outcome.

Her previous project work has included delivering learning workshops in partnership with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. These workshops aimed to widen access for Welsh students and to encourage more young people to progress into higher education.

Natasha also contributes to the running of the university’s Employability Week, which is designed to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence in order to increase their employability.
