Coaching and Mentoring (Part-time) (MA)

Distance Learning
3 Years Part-time

Coaches and mentors are in high demand across every sector. Whether you are already practising or looking to step into a more senior coaching or mentoring role, the MA Coaching and Mentoring at UWTSD gives you the advanced knowledge and skills to take your practice to the highest level.

This is a part-time, work-based programme built around your professional life. You study at postgraduate level while staying in your job, applying what you learn directly to your day-to-day practice. You can choose to study on-campus at Carmarthen or entirely through distance learning, and you will build a programme tailored to your own professional goals.

A Programme Built Around You

Unlike many postgraduate courses, every module you study is optional. You work with a personal Programme Adviser to design a study plan that matches your professional context. You can also use the Recognition and Accreditation of Learning module to gain credit for coaching or mentoring experience you already have.

The Highest Level of Achievement

The MA Coaching and Mentoring is a 180-credit Level 7 qualification completed over three years. It is the fullest expression of this programme, and includes a work-based learning project where you carry out original research in your professional setting.
