Mae Lisa Isherwood (FRSA a FLSW) yn ddiwinydd rhyddhad sy’n credu bod diwinyddiaeth yn brosiect cymunedol sy’n cael ei danio gan syniadau o gydraddoldeb radical ac wedi’i rymuso gan gwmnïaeth ddwyfol. Mae ei gwaith yn archwilio natur ymgnawdoliad mewn cyd-destun cyfoes ac yn cynnwys meysydd fel y corff, rhyw, rhywioldeb ac eco-ddiwinyddiaeth. 

Mae ei gwaith wedi’i gyhoeddi’n helaeth ac mae wedi darlithio ledled Ewrop, India, UDA, Awstralia a Chanada. Mae ganddi ystod eang o brofiad gyda’r cyfryngau o gael ei chyfweld i gydweithio â chynhyrchwyr a chyfarwyddwyr er mwyn creu rhaglenni sy’n seiliedig ar ymchwil. 

Yn 2009, hi oedd Is-lywydd Cymdeithas Ewropeaidd Menywod mewn Ymchwil Diwinyddol. Mae ganddi bartneriaethau ymchwil gyda chydweithwyr yn UDA ac America Ladin. 

Rhwng 2017 a 2019, adeiladodd wefan ymchwil o’r enw ‘Theological Wanderings in the Cosmos’ a ddaeth â disgyblaethau gwyddonol, mytholegol a diwinyddol at ei gilydd i greu sgwrs rhwng y cosmolegau newydd a diwinyddiaeth eco-ffeministaidd.

Profiad Proffesiynol a/neu Ymchwil

Mae’r Athro Isherwood wedi llwyddo i oruchwylio 25 o fyfyrwyr PhD ac mae ganddo ystod eang o brofiad addysgu ar draws lefelau. Mae wedi gwasanaethu fel arholwr allanol ar gyfer rhaglenni diwinyddiaeth mewn sefydliadau yn y DU a thramor ac wedi archwilio gwaith PhD yn UDA, Canada a'r DU. Mae wedi gwasanaethu ar bwyllgorau proffesiynol yn UDA, Awstralia a'r DU.

Mae’n ymgynghorydd i'r Comisiwn Bywyd Trefol a Ffydd, Esgobaeth Caerwysg, Caritas a Lloegr Ysbrydol.

Cynigiwyd tair athrawiaeth ymweld yn Garret Evangelical Seminary, Illinois fel Cymrawd Ymweliadol Georgia Harkness; Ysgol Ddiwinyddiaeth Esgobol yng Nghaergrawnt a Phrifysgol Gorllewin Awstralia. Mae’n un o olygyddion sefydlu'r Cyfnodolyn rhyngwladol Feminist Theology (Sage) ac yn aelod o'r bwrdd golygyddol rhyngwladol Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion, Gwasg Prifysgol Indiana.

Mae wedi bod yn olygydd cyfres o bum cyfres, ac ar hyn o bryd mae’n olygydd y gyfres Gender, Theology & Spirituality, Routledge.
