Mae Dr Ceri Phelps yn Seicolegydd Iechyd wedi ei gofrestru â HCPC sy’n gweithio yn y Ganolfan Seicoleg a Chwnsela lle mae’n cyfrannu at ddatblygiad strategol addysgu, ymchwil ac ymgysylltu â’r gymuned. Mae ei harbenigedd mewn deall sut mae pobl yn ymateb i ddigwyddiadau bywyd llawn straen, yn enwedig bygythiadau i’n hiechyd a’n lles. Mae Ceri yn Rheolwr Rhaglen yr MSc mewn Seicoleg Gymhwysol ac mae’n addysgu ar ein graddau israddedig sydd wedi’u hachredu gan BPS. Mae ei diddordebau ymchwil yn rhychwantu maes Seicoleg Gymhwysol, yn cynnwys gwahaniaethau gweledol, seico-oncoleg, iechyd a lles yn y gweithle, datblygu a gwerthuso ymyraethau. Mae gan Ceri ddiddordeb mawr mewn moeseg ymchwil cymhwysol ac mae’n aelod o Bwyllgor Moeseg Ymchwil y GIG. Mae Ceri wedi cael hyfforddiant mewn sgiliau cyfweld ysgogol a goruchwylio seicolegol ac yn ymarferydd seicoleg iechyd, mae hi’n gweithio gyda grwpiau cleifion agored i niwed a hefyd yn cyflwyno gweithdai ar ymdopi â straen a gorbryder i weithwyr proffesiynol ac ysgolion.
